Transcend Extreme Plus 600X Compact Flash memory cards has released in India. Transcend offers the Extreme Plus 600X CF cards in 8GB and 16GB capacities, priced at an MRP of Rupees 8,000 and 16,000 respectively. They carry an international Lifetime Warranty
These new cards are claimed to provide transfer speeds of upto 92 MB/s while reading, and 87 MB/s while writing to the memory card.
Targeted at performance-conscious photographers, these new cards utilize Turbo MLC (multi-level cell NAND flash chips) technology. Transcend claims that this provides the fast performance required for enthusiasts and professional photographers who use digital SLR cameras.
It is said to operate in quad-channel mode, these cards can be up to twice as fast as older 300X cards, which is useful to store high-resolution images, and record videos continuously.
