Video companies are now optimistic that 3-D TV will be huge success this year. Last week Sony, Panasonic, LG, Toshiba, Mitsubishi and Samsung gaze into the big-screen 3-D TVs on display. The manufacturers are confident that consumers will come along for the 3-D ride sooner or later. The Consumer Electronics Association estimates that 4 million 3-D TV sets will be sold in 2010, most of them in the fourth quarter.
To gain a clear understanding of what specifically defines a 3-D TV and what you need for a full experience. In order to display a full-frame image in 3-D, you need an extremely high frame rate, so usually the TV must be capable of a 240-Hz refresh rate. The TV also needs to support HDMI 1.4, the latest generation of HDMI, which will transmit the massive amount of data necessary to process and display 3-D images. Most 3-D TVs also include a transmitter that can synchronize with the 3-D glasses. The transmitter, usually in the middle of the TV, synchronizes with active-shutter glasses so that the glasses’ lenses show and hide the left and right images at the proper frequency (120 Hz for each eye). Pricing for these glasses has yet to be determined, but is probably in the $100 to $300 range.
ESPN and Discovery have already established partnerships with Sony to create 3-D content. Panasonic says the TV will include one pair of 3-D glasses when it ships in spring. Mitsubishi’s “3-D ready” TVs are already shipping. Mitsubishi says as this model features technologies to improve noise reduction, sharpness and shadow details. LG’s 3-D TV will allow you to watch 3-D without being in a pitch-dark room. Samsung showed off its extremely thin 3-D TVs, which measure only a third of an inch thin. This 3-D TVs also feature a proprietary 3-D engine that, like Toshiba’s Cell TV, can convert 2-D video to 3-D.
The new SuperSpeed USB 3.0’s has greatest impact In todays technology. SuperSpeed USB 3.0-certified products were introduced, including host controllers, adapter cards, motherboards, and hard drives. Still more uncertified USB 3.0 products are on the way, and they can’t get here fast enough.
Given that the certification labs are jammed up, though, you can expect companies to release USB 3.0 products without official certification. It will be hard to know whether the device truly lives up to its performance potential. According to In-Stat Research, by 2013, more than one-quarter of USB 3.0 products will support SuperSpeed USB 3.0.
USB 3.0 is its backward compatibility with USB 2.0. Hence you need a new cable and new host adapter or one of the Asus or Gigabyte motherboards that supports USB 3.0 to achieve USB 3.0, but you can still use the device on a USB 2.0 port and achieve typical USB 2.0 performance.
The theoretical throughput improvement offered by USB 3.0 is dramatic, a theoretical 10X jump over existing USB 2.0 hardware. USB 2.0 maxed out at a theoretical 480Mbps, while USB 3.0 can theoretically handle up to 5Gbps.
The performance was on a par with that of eSATA-but the benefit here is that USB 3.0 is a powered port, so you don’t need to have another external power supply running to the drive.
As soon USB 3.0 will be getting the interface into notebooks. HP and Fujitsu have announced limited USB 3.0 support on notebooks. Taiwanese notebook and desktop maker MSI indicated that it wouldn’t have USB 3.0 until, at the earliest, the third-quarter of this year. As Computer moving to USB 3.0 Now we can hope that digital cameras and camcorders and video cameras will also moving to USB 3.0.

It seems that all-new 2010 Intel Core family of processors promising greater efficiency in terms of performance and energy consumption. The processors would support mainstream and casual 3D gaming, without the need for an add-in video card. It also supports Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.
The new family of Intel processors with the industry’s most advanced technology available immediately at virtually every PC price point. The all-new 2010 Intel Core family of processors includes Intel’s ‘Turbo Boost’ technology for laptops, desktops and embedded devices. These Smart processors adapt to an individual’s needs, automatically providing a boost of performance for everyday applications. They become energy efficient to the point of shutting down processing cores or reducing power consumption to provide performance when people need it.
These processors are about twice as fast as comparable existing PCs for visibly faster video, photo and music downloading experience. The mainstream processors automatically adapt to an individual’s performance needs. More than 400 laptop and desktop PC platform designs were expected from computer-makers based on these products, with another 200 expected for embedded devices. In India, systems with new processors PCs would to be available from all computer manufacturers.
