INQ has been for long known for making low cost and highly social networking based phones. The newest addition to the INQ phone is not a keypad based one. This one is touch screen and will be running the Android 2.1 OS. There is a good chance that the phone will be released by the end of this quarter at rates which will be within reach of the customers because that is what the company has been known for.
On recent interview the company has announced that they will be releasing its first Android-based touch screen handset by the end of this year. This INQ phone can be considered as an attempt by INQ to get into the smart phone market.
The company has entered the Indian market and has tied up with Aircel and so it is quite a probability that this phone will be released in India as well. This will be the first real smart phone by INQ in the market. .
