Microsoft said that it is tailoring Cortana with respect to local culture alongside specialized information for each country.

What is Cortana? Cortana is replacement of live bing search. It is more like Google Now- a live voice assistant. Cortana is a clever new personal assistant, where user can Speak naturally to Cortana about anything.
To experience with Cortana, just type a question in the search box on the taskbar, or select the microphone icon and talk to her.  Cortana can chat or get info about the queries  and do things for you.

Cortana’s Notebook is where she keeps track of what you like and what you want her to do.
