Google issued invitations to developers to test its new online tool. The new online tool named as Wave, which marries real time communication with natural language tools.

The new technology lets users create a wave and add people to it. Members of a wave can use richly formatted text, photos, gadgets and feeds from other Web sources. In addition, users can directly insert a reply or edit in the wave. And since it’s live, concurrent rich-text editing, users can instantly see what their fellow members are typing in their wave. Natural language processing is another Wave feature, which is basically an automatic spell correction system. Wave also features e-mail gateways that link to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Google issued invites to 100,000 developers, who can each ask five other testers to join their wave. Google also has asked developers to create their own APIs for the Wave offering.

Microsoft plans to release the final version of its free antivirus software soon

Microsoft first announced its plans for free security software, the code-named Morro, last November, at the same time the company said it was scrapping its paid Windows Live OneCare product.

Microsoft plans to release the final version of its free antivirus software soon, according to a note sent to testers late Sunday.

Public beta testing of Security Essentials started in June, with Microsoft reaching its goal of 75,000 testers just one day after it issued a call for them.

Personal Computer(pc) Drops Netbook Gained

Today the worldwide personal computer (PC) market is pulling out of its fall quickly and could resist predictions by growing this year. Market research firms IDC and Gartner have both predicted a year-over-year decline in PC shipments in 2009, which would be the first such drop since 2001.

The Ford Motor is likely to announce its new small car Ford B517 for the Indian market on Wednesday. Earlier Ford’s sell their marquee brands Jaguar and Land Rover to Tata Motors just ahead of the global turndown. This timely sale helped Ford weather the recession without government aid.

The Wheels Unplugged says the new small car has been codenamed Ford B517 is expected to be launched in March next year. This is part of Ford Motor’s plans to integrate car designs globally and develop compact and mid-sized cars to help improve profitability and productivity.

It has been told that To be built at its Chennai facility, the new car will come in petrol and diesel versions of 1.2 litre and 1.5 litre engine capacity respectively to satisfy the Indian government’s definition of a small car. The car would have 85 per cent local content, and the company is in talks with Tata Steel for better steel prices with the increased volumes, according to the report.

This facility, to be launched by online telephony site Jajah, is set to become a next big thing on the dating domain. Jajah and Twitter recently signed an agreement for offering calling solutions to Twitter. Trevor Healy, Jajah CEO said that The Jajah IP Communications Platform is chosen by carriers, mobile operators and online companies around the world who leverage not just our carrier-grade network, but our ability to develop proven, market-ready solutions that add value for their customers and their businesses.

Twitter users require registering their mobile numbers at the website which will allow users to make call to their followers. Call will automatically disconnect after two minutes and no bonus minutes would be provided.
Users require sending a Twitter message (tweet) with ‘@call @username’ to another follower.
The facility is under trials in US while soon introduced in Australia.
