Samsung to launch the Galaxy Y Duos the first dual-SIM smartphones. Samsung Galaxy Y Duos is another Samsung Galaxy Series mobile with Android v2.3 Gingerbread OS. The two SIM cards mean you have got two phone numbers at your disposal, one for work, for instance, and one for your personal.

Samsung Galaxy Y Duos will be an addition to the market with Dual SIM feature. Samsung also announced that Galaxy Y Duos will be available in stores from January 2012.

The Galaxy Y Duos is an all-touch Android 2.3 Gingerbread setup with a 3.1-inch QVGA screen, a 3-megapixel fixed-focus camera, and the Android works. It also has a 1,300mAh battery. It has 832 MHz processors, 320×240 resolution displays.

Micromax Superphone Phone A85 comes with Android 2.2 OS, 3G, Dual Camera, Touchscreen, Dual Core nVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor.

HTC the smartphone maker has launched HTC Explorer. It comes with the Android OS. Its newest offering in this burgeoning space is the affordable HTC Explorer. Targeted at the entry-level customers. HTC Explorer is how it seems to be a clone of every other entry-level smartphone in the market. It is cute looking and its rubberised back fits snugly in your palm.

It has modest 3.15 MP camera and The video capture is in MP4 format with 480×720 pixels. The LCD screen is pretty good, although a bit small at just a little over 3″ across, and with pixel dimensions of 320×480.

The video playback supports most video formats including XviD, AVI, and MP4, but 720p and higher videos are a no-go. The battery lasts surprisingly long considering it has a 1230 mAh piece. HTC’s newest entrant has a simple user interface and speedy response. HTC Vivid Features

HTC Vivid comes with 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540) display, a front-facing camera. Inside there is a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage memory and a 1620mAh battery that provides almost eight hours of continuous talk time.

HTC Vivid uses a Sony SuperLCD display. The range of its viewing angle is excellent, and colors were rich and had good contrast. HTC Vivid runs Android 2.3.4 skinned with HTC’s Sense 3.0.

HTC Vivid performed really well. Opening and switching between apps was pretty fluid with 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The Vivid’s camera is admirable, but not great. Picture quality was fine. The camera does have some pretty decent macro capture capabilities, and it was also quick to focus. Another nice feature is the inclusion of photo editing tools and filters.
